Emergency sick/personal time

To take care of our people during COVID-19, we had granted additional paid time off to eligible associates. These hours are available in Kronos and can be viewed in the Workforce Tools app or via mythdhr.ca > Self Service > Weekly Time Detail.

If you wish to be paid out for unused time off, there are two options available. Hourly associates can also opt for a payout of at-risk hours.

Option 1: Receive a payout of unused emergency sick/personal time off on Jan. 29, 2021

  • Complete an online enrolment form to elect full or partial payout during the election period below
    • Hourly associates can make and change elections from Dec. 28, 2020 to Jan. 16, 2021
    • Salaried associates can make and change elections from Jan. 4 - 16, 2021
  • The election form can be accessed via the myApron home page or via thd.co/canpayout
  • You will need your myApron log in and password to access the form.
  • You can view and/or change your election as many times as you want prior to the end of the election period.

Option 2: Keep unused emergency sick/personal time for use and receive payout in July 2021

  • No action is required.
  • Any remaining hours can be used by July 2, 2021 (unused hours will be paid out at that time).

The payout of these hours will be taxed at the bonus tax rate.
